My name is Bridgette Moore and I am running to be a member of the
first ever Wildomar City Council. My family and I have lived in
Wildomar for nine years. My husband is Stewart Moore and we have been
married for thirteen years and we have one son, Jake.

I started volunteering for Wildomar in the year 2000 after our parks were closed.
I was attending the Municipal Advisory Council meetings and was asked to join the
Wildomar Parks Formation Committee. While volunteering for the last seven years
as Parks Committee Chairwoman, Vice-Chair or Secretary, I helped create a master
park plan for Wildomar and helped to successfully pass a parks assessment
which led to ultimately reopening our parks in 2007. I received a commendation
award from Riverside County Board Supervisor Buster in December 2006.

I volunteered for the Wildomar Incorporation Now (WIN) committee
serving as Secretary, Treasurer and Fundraising Chair at
different times throughout the last five years.

Our son, Jake, is in Wildomar Cub Scouts Pack 332
and I volunteer as an Assistant Den Leader, a Den Treasurer
and the Pack's Public Relations Chair. Jake won Cub
Scout of the Year in January 2007. Stewart is the Cubmaster of Pack 332.

I am the secretary for the Wildomar Skaters Committee
that was formed in July 2007 for the mission of providing
a safe skating facility for the community of Wildomar.

Our family attends Cornerstone Community Church and I have been
volunteering for the past six years as a teacher for the
3-year-old children in Sunday School as well
as volunteering at other church activities.

I have volunteered for the Wildomar Community Council and
the Fire Station's annual Breakfast with Santa for the past four years.
I also volunteered for the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce,
Butterfield Trails, Emergency Services Committee and the Wildomar MAC.

I home school Jake three days a week and he attends a charter school
the other two days. For the charter, I volunteer on the Field Trip Committee.

I love the open spaces still left in Wildomar and will work to preserve them.
I like seeing the horses walking down our Wildomar roads.
I want more parks and recreation opportunities for the residents.
I feel Wildomar is unique and should stay that way.

I look forward to this opportunity to represent the citizens of Wildomar
as one of your first City Council members.  I welcome the chance to speak
with you and share my vision.  With your vote, we can make the
City of Wildomar become an even better place to live.
